For many years I kept a single male or a pair of Bishop Weavers, both in my Hollywood apartment in 1970, and where I currently live now. I used to marvel at the beautiful song of the male Bishop Weaver and enjoy watching him moult from a drab little brown bird to an orange and black dapper singing fool, during the year. Safe to say, that Weavers would be tops on my list of softbills to keep. >>More |
